This course is designed to present students with the ethical responsibilities of an engineer in addition to developing the necessary skills to create and deliver technical reports and presentations. Students will also enhance their resumes and develop effective writing and communication skills necessary to be successful in real-life situations. Students will understand the principles of composition, rhetoric, and document design applied to the basic genres of research-based scientific and technical writing, including the report, proposal, manual, resume, and professional correspondence.
